Traditional Browser Technology Is Not Crypto Friendly

Google Chrome is the dominant internet browser and has always taken an anti-crypto position that has failed to provide users with a browsing experience that embraces digital currencies use and storage. Brave browser made an admirable attempt to solve this problem but has failed to capture any meaningful market share. The design to simply block 3rd party advertising by default without first building any form of ad tech or a meaningful client opt-in or gamification process has resulted in poor revenues and subsequent paltry rewards. Poor tokenomics, having KYC requirements for any token withdrawal, and a lack of excitement has been additionally harsh on the Brave browser project
