This trend seems to be accelerating as we recently saw Disney cancel popular childhood movies such as Peter Pan, Dumbo, The Aristocrats, and The Swiss Family Robinsons.
Edgy content that once made YouTube great has now been demonetized or banned in order to appease advertisers.
As a result, many content creators have had to pivot to more family-friendly content such as vlogs, give up on collecting advertising revenue to stay true to themselves and their fans or move to other platforms.
